Ari Emanuel started as an assistant at a talent agency after hearing about the job from a friend of a friend, and in 1995 he walked out of ICM with 3 partners to start Endeavor around a single table and a phone. He went on to merge Endeavor with the century-old William Morris Agency, buy IMG for $2.4 billion, and buy the UFC for $4.2 billion with Silver Lake's Egon Durban. Today he is executive chair and CEO of TKO and the founder of MARI, a new live events company built with Mark Shapiro. He is dyslexic, the brother of Rahm and Zeke Emanuel, and the real person behind Entourage's Ari Gold. His new memoir is called Roll the Calls. These signals are from an interview that David Senra did with Ari Emanuel on the David Senra podcast.
