Build What the Labs Won't

Gabe Stengel grew up in New York surrounded by people who talked about little except high finance. He worked as an investment banker for a couple of years doing M&A, then tried twice to build AI tools for finance before the models were ready, once in high school and once in college. He cofounded Rogo with John Willett in the GPT-3 era, before ChatGPT launched. Rogo builds AI agents for banks, private equity firms, and hedge funds, and now serves tens of thousands of bankers and investors at hundreds of firms. More than 100 of its employees have worked inside investment banks or investment firms. These signals are from an interview that Patrick O'Shaughnessy did with Gabe Stengel on Invest Like the Best.
